Sunday, May 25, 2014 Hello from Hefei, Sam and I traveled to Hefei today. The atmosphere is much different than Beijing. There are more motorcycles and older structures. Our hotel is beautiful and Sam says that he going to take a bubble bath tomorrow in the Jacuzzi tub. We ventured off to a three story Wal-Mart and got some treats for Qian. I also picked up some honey flavored beef jerky for Jiali! Today we learned that Qian’s orphanage is poorer than others. There is no heat in the winter and no AC in the summer. That explains the heavy jacket in the photos that we received. Our guide said that the caretakers do the best they can in the conditions they are given. I’m going to make this post short. My stomach has been upset all day. I took an antibiotic and hopefully it will kick in before I meet Qian tomorrow. Enjoy the pictures! Good Night from Hefei – Betty and Sam
