Many of you followed our two previous trips to China to bring Sophia and Parker home! We are excited to be returning to China for a third time to bring home our daughter. We received Piper's referral on December 20, 2010! We knew immediately we were looking at our Piper as soon as we saw her picture! She was just beautiful!

Piper was found abandoned at Building Number 7 in the Xingfu Community in the Anyuan District of Pingxiang City on September 27,2009. Piper was sent to the Children's Welfare Institute of Pingxiang City for an observation period. She was then sent to live with a foster family! Piper was born with a complex congenital heart defect. She was admitted to the Children's Hospital that is affiliated with the Beijing Military General Hopsital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army on December 6, 2009. She had a pulmonary artery banding and a by-pass operation of aortic arch constriction. She was discharged on March 7, 2010. She will need additional procedures once she comes home!

She is described as a lovely child. She is a moderate sleeper. She is also described as active, fond of playing with toys and imitating others! She should fit right in with Sophia, Graham, and Parker.
