We received the call on October
15, 2009 at 4:10 pm. Our agency called to inform us that
they had our referral and she is from the Hunan Province. On
October 16, 2009 @ 4:15pm we met with our social worker to get
all of the details. This is what we learned about our daughter.
Date of Birth: March
17, 2008
Chinese Name: Chen
Chensi
Chen is her last name. The Chinese put the last name
first. Chensi is her first name. At the orphanage they
call her Si Si (pronounced See See).
We have chosen to give her the name Tia Kate Chensi.
She is currently living at the Chenzhou Childrens Welfare
Institute in the Hunan Province. |
We are told that she is a
moderate sleeper. She gets up at 6:30 AM and goes to bed at
7:30pm. We are also told that she is fond of listening to music
and fond of playing with toys as well as playing games. She is
fairly introverted and is closest to her caretaker.
We are waiting on the rest of her information to be translated
into English. We can’t wait to meet her in person. Praise the
Lord that little Chen Chensi will be our daughter. What an
amazing journey!
