Today was a busy day! We met our travel group- I love this part of the trip so much. So many different families with different stories about how they were led into this world of adoption. It is awesome.

We went all over today! Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, lunch, the pearl market, the silk market and Beijing Duck dinner. Phew. I am tired just writing that. We missed this day of touring when we came to get Katie Mei- so we were really excited to be able to see these things today. Especially with our kids. Amazing day, truly.

And, being the Markmillers, we couldn't just see the sites. We had to make it into a leg of the Amazing Race. Complete with a check in. Thankfully for Michael, Jack and I it was a non elimination round. :)

Katie Mei has made some new friends....two little girls, Hannah and Katerina are here to bring their little sisters home too! The girls had so much fun playing together.

Well, off to bed. We have another big day tomorrow!! Thanks again for all the guestbook comments!! They are so so so awesome. We love reading them.

We went so many places today! China has amazing stories from its history. We saw some really cool buildings and learned about the emper0rs. The Forbidden City has more than 10,000 buildings!!! It really is big. I also tried duck tonight. I didn't like it too much. Oh also, people here really like to take pictures of me. And my brother too. It is fun. Talk to you later.

I had fun today! I met two girls, Hannah and Katerina who are here to adopt their little sisters too. And guess what? They are from China like me! I tried Duck for dinner and didn't like it too much. But I liked the chicken. I got a blue bracelet too! I miss you guys!
