We had a great day! We had no plans in front of us- so we walked across the street to a big grocery store to look around. Then we decided to make a trip to the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. That is awesome!!! We walked around for quite awhile- marveling at the construction of the Birds Nest. We then went to to the Water Cube. OK- anyone who is making this trip to adopt (or just for fun) and you have some extra time- bring a bathing suit and visit the Water Cube. They built a GIANT water park inside. It was awesome. Now, we didn't bring our bathing suits, but the kids wanted to go in. Maybe next time.

After that, we came back and hung out at the hotel. We got to watch the staff running a fire drill. Quite amusing as it occurred outside and two men with huge containers of gasoline poured it out and set it on fire- and every staff member took turns with an extinguisher to put it out. It was funny to watch. We ate dinner at the hotel, went swimming and had Haagen Daaz for dessert. All in all a great day! Today we get to meet the rest of our travel group- and we are doing tons of things! Can't wait for today! We miss you all so much and thank you so much for all your comments!!!

We got to go to the place where they held the Olympics in 2008! It was really cool. I am sad because there was an AWESOME water park at the Water Cube. It even had a slide that shot you UP a hill. So cool. I got to eat ice cream last night too! Hope everyone is great!! Day after tomorrow we get Lauren!!!!!
