Hello everyone! So we were to meet our guide, Lee, in the
lobby this morning at 8:30... however we ordered room service
for breakfast so that Grayson could sleep as long as possible
since we had such a long and tiring day yesterday. Room services
was wonderfully tasty once it got here... however it took longer
than we expected...and then just as we were about to
leave....the stinky diaper monster appeared...LOL So needless to
say, we arrived in the lobby at 9!!
Grayson had his physical
exam today and was found to be in great shape. He also was an
incredible sport about the whole thing and the wait afterwards.
He ate cereal, with the help of Mom shared with a new friend and
was just incredibly adorable as always. We met several
incredible families and many beautiful children there today as
they were getting their exams also. We spent much of the
afternoon resting and then treated ourselves to a steak dinner
complete with baked potato and char grilled asparagus. Grayson
was treated to a grilled cheese, fries and fresh squeezed apple
juice. This was the very best apple juice I have ever tasted.
Afterwards, Grayson and I accompanied Daddy to the pool where we
chatted with Karen and her beautiful daughter, Pearl. God is so
good. He always gives us just what we need, just when we need
it. We are so enjoying our time here in China, but at the same
time wishing for home and all things familiar. God placed Karen
and I at the pool together at such a time as this, so that the
familiarity of language could sooth this wish in both of us.
Makes me think of the song..."He's an on time God, yes He is" I
am so thankful for His timeliness!
In the pictures you will see
today you will see Grayson with the doctor in a couple of
them...a picture of him and Mom.....laughing and playing on the
bed with his toys...showing off his mischievous smile... and
finally...one of him and his Daddy on Gotcha Day once again... I
probably sent this one before... but it is one of my very
favorites because it is two of my greatest blessings all in one
photo.
Well...I have hummed from the Blue Hymnal... "Love Lifted Me"...
so both Daddy and son are sleeping tight...LOL So I will say
goodnight for now. We love you all and once again want to thank
you for your comments on the guest book page. |
