I (Tony) received “the call” while traveling on Interstate 70 in downtown Indianapolis on August 24, 2007. Our coordinator (Maury) said that there was a unique situation, we had twins. The rest is history.

According to their referral information, Lu La is older than Lu Mei. Both girls were described as “very adorable” and we agree! Both girls were so tiny their caretakers paid them more attention. Both are described as “very smart” and “like to wear pretty dresses”. In addition, they both “cry loudly”. Lu Mei is described as liking busy places and being outgoing and active. Lu La is described as sometimes impatient and likes to get away from her caretaker. I think we will have our hands full!

The girls are currently eating a diet of rice, one or two bottles of formula a day, meat buns, steamed bread, congee, noodles, and eggs. YUM! It also says that they get up at 6:00 a.m. and go to bed at 9:30, with two naps a day! Let’s see if that same pattern happens once they’re home! Our days of sleeping in are over!
