October 2014 This is our first update since returning home from China on September 11, and it is almost Halloween! It took us a while to get organized and as a result of some time passing between September 11 and now, the changes in Juliette are amazing. Her looks and her personality barely resemble the little girl she was just a few weeks ago. All the changes are for the better. Her personality is blossoming, and she is always happy and smiling. We also noticed that she likes music with a good beat! As soon as she hears something with a good beat, she starts swaying back and forth or bouncing up and down! Our dogs that Juliette was initially petrified of have now become additional playmates that are all at the same eye-level. Caroline has settled into being the big sister. She watches out for and plays with Juliette and seems all around happy to have another little person in the family. Halloween is in two weeks, and we plan to have a little Halloween party. Caroline has decided to be a pirate princess, and daddy couldn't resist the pumpkin costume at Costco with a stem for the hat for Juliette! Our next update should have very cute photos of Halloween!
