If you do not
change direction, you may end up where you are heading. ~Lao Tzu
Not much went on today, other than Juliette's temperament
improving little by little. There was a lot less crying and
fussiness today, and she finally went potty! We think her tummy
feels much better now. We walked rather slowly today, because it
was very hot and the humidity here is so high all the time! We
went to a few shops and bought some souvenirs after getting to
Starbucks a bit later this morning.
By lunch we were too hot to keep walking and went back to the
hotel to cool off. We were happy to find that three other
American families have checked into our hotel and have the same
consulate date that we do. We met one of the families at Lucy's
this evening for dinner and chatted for a while. Apparently,
their baby is rather fussy too! It is ever so nice to meet
people from home, when we are so far away! Juliette was in a
much better mood at dinner, and even let mommy sit down for a
while to eat! She went to bed rather early this evening, as she
only had one nap and was rather tired from the day.
We are looking forward to sleeping in a little tomorrow since we
once again have nothing scheduled.
