The LOOK Project is a wonderful organization that helps take care of the older orphans who are so often forgotten. Angie Blevins, the founder of the "Our China Angels" support group for families adopting from China, has created this organization in order to care for the orphans that are left behind in the Chinese orphanages. This organization is so important to our family! Right now they are collecting postcards for the children. Here is the message that Angie recently sent out on the subject:

Hi guys,

It is time for vacations and we will soon be heading out to have some fun with our families that we are blessed to have. Please remember these children that have no family while you are out and about by buying a few post cards from your travels. We send a post card to every child that we send a care package to and you would not believe how much they LOVE these post cards! It really surprised us. The nannies and orphanage directors have told us that the children love these and say they are "their part of America". We have been told they keep them in their beds, some put them on their wall beside their beds and some just carry them with them daily.

These post cards are very inexpensive and we ship to many hundreds of children a year, so we need a lot. Also, please post to any group you are on and also family members and friends that you know are getting ready to vacation. It doesn't matter where the post card is from or how many they purchase. If you post on your travel group or any group you are a member of, please share our charity info of LOOKProject.org and explain this is for the care packages program.
