It was a beautiful day to spend at the Botanical Gardens. we are loving every minute of the weather here in Guangzhou. In lieu of a post today, I wanted to capture some of the things that make Cole so special to me.

-Cole absolutely LOVES bubbles. One of his highlights of today was getting a battery operated fish-shaped bubble blower from the Botanical Garden. The expression of joy on his face when we bought it was priceless.

-Cole loves to sing. He sings many times throughout the day and loves applause when he is finished. (very cute)

-Cole is always on the go. His foster mom said that he talks from the moment he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. She was right.

-Cole was very well fed. In fact, I consider myself to be in reasonable shape and I am having a few aches and pains from carrying him. But, I so enjoying the fact that he is so content in my arms. At least, most of the time.

-Cole is not shy at all. Tonight I was being stalked by a shopkeeper who was trying to converse with Cole. Cole said something to her and Stef asked her what he had said. She said, matter of factly, that he had told her to get away from him!

-Cole is in love with his tiger backpack. We never have (so far) left the room with out it and he insists on having it next to him when he goes to sleep.

-Cole likes to act like a baby sometimes. He will lay on the floor and in a baby voice he says "Bao, Bao" for me to pick him up. Adorable!

-Cole sucks his thumb... but only at bedtime. He kind of sucks it from the side as if to cover it up.

-When people ask Cole how old he is, he holds up three fingers, even though he is only two.

-I am absolutely crazy about Cole! He is hilarious, completely loveable, and he is really going to "shake things up" at our house. He is such a blessing!!
