WE ARE OVERJOYED!!

She is so wonderful!!!!! We arrived at the Civil Affairs Office in Wuhan at 9:30am. Annalyn arrived with 2 ladies from the orphanage staff at 9:55am. We were all so excited and nervous. We just sat there watching the door for 25 min waiting for her to walk through. When she finally came through the door, she was wearing a smile that lit up the room!!!! The whole room lit up when she came in! She has a beautiful smile!! She was so happy to meet us. I just lost it when I saw her. I couldn't help it, I was so overwhelmed with emotion when I saw her sweet face just light up the entire room! She was very happy with the gifts that we had brought for her. Her favorites were the light up wheel and the digital camera. These were a hit. And her face really lit up when she saw her "Happy Goat" PJ's! She and Gwendolyn are having a wonderful time together. They have already held hands while walking through the restaurant with everyone staring! LOL

She seems very happy with us. She loves to be silly and laugh. She is a good eater. She seems to understand us fairly well, but we cannot understand what she is saying. She is good at showing us what she wants. The girls and Mike had a full afternoon of tickling and playing a little bit rough in the floor. She is VERY independent and can do most things herself. She has the sweetest personality and is very polite. She is catching on to English VERY fast. By tonight, she was saying consistently "Okay", "Yes, sir", and "thank you." I told her that she looked cute in her new pj's and she said thank you in Chinese. She is so smart!
She is very much a girlie girl. We asked her if she wanted to sleep with Gwendolyn or us. She said that she wanted all of the girls to sleep in the bed together and Mike to sleep on the floor because he is the boy. LOL!!

We feel so very blessed to have her in our lives. Thank you for all of your prayers. Keep 'em comin'. Enjoy all of the pictures...especially her smile that lights up the room!!
