WE MADE IT . . .

We arrived at the airport at 4:00 A.M. to find out that our flight had not been cancelled but that the plane intended to take us had been fogged in and was not there. We waited as they figured out how to get us to Beijing. We flew from Spokane to Portland, then Portland to San Francisco and finally San Francisco to Beijing. The hardest part was that we did not have confirmed seat assignments from San Francisco to Beijing when we left Spokane. We ended up on China Air. Ted was in the exit row and Brandy & Amalie were 8 rows back.

We are checked in to the Poly Plaza in Room #1017. We just grabbed some dinner and are ready to crash. We will give you better reports in the days to come...promise!
