Sunday, January 24, 2010 Today was a travel day as we flew a short flight from Beijing to Zhengzhou, the capital city of the Henan province. We were met at the airport by Yisha, our ultra-efficient guide. She has our stay here planned in great detail. It is a relief especially since my mind is on tomorrow and meeting Dang Yue for the first time. We are staying at the Crowne Plaza. They have a huge, huge pool that Cody and Mike have already splashed about in. Mike had to buy a swim suit from the hotel and 2 swim caps which came to about 30 USD. They also have ping pong tables to play on and a workout gym. We’ve had 2 meals from a restaurant here called Mama Mia Pizzeria. For lunch we had pizza and it was really, really good. We told our waitress we’d be back for dinner and when we came in she seated us and remembered exactly what drinks we’d ordered before. There is a Wal-Mart about 3 blocks away that we will shop at sometime soon. It seems like you can always think of something you need at Wal-Mart. We may have to get Dang Yue a swim suit if she wants to swim. We don’t really have pictures from today so here are some from previous days. Give Ryan lots of love, we can’t wait to see him!
