About Olivia

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~Jeremiah 29:11 Wen Yu, to be named Olivia, was born August 16, 2008.She was found at the emergency unit of Xiehe Hospital on August 17. The police searched for her biological parents and relatives but could not find them. She was taken to the Nanyang City Social Welfare Institute. She was described by the nannies as being very cute and chubby. She was always smiling and loved being held by the nannies (I can’t wait!). Olivia went into foster care on September 16, 2008 and has thrived beautifully. Our last update reported that Olivia weighed about 26 lbs and was 31½ inches tall.
