It was a lovely day here in China with our two girls! After
another delicious breakfast at the buffet . . . the french toast
is incredible! . . . we were off to tour two local sites - Liu
Rong Temple and the Chen Family Academy. Both were beautiful and
we really enjoyed walking around them. I have to say, toward the
end of our time at the Academy the heat and humidity were taking
their toll. It felt great to get back to the comfort of our
room, where we ate, napped and relaxed for a few hours. Then it
was off to the pool, where Anna Kate had her first swim - and
loved it!
I wish I had more pool photos to share, but the pool
attendant told me that there was a rule forbidding picture
taking. Huh? No cameras at the pool? Not wanting to get kicked
out of the White Swan, I obliged. So in the future when I
mention that we went swimming, just envision two cuties
splashing around!
Little Anna Kate showed even more of her personality today and
continues to charm us with her smiles and cute ways. I'm happy
to report that she also can show her discontent over things like
clothing and diaper changes. Joe's family calls it "cranking" .
. . so I can officially report that Anna Kate knows how to
crank!
Enjoy the photos! I'm too tired to write the captions . . . I
think they are all self-explanatory. Tomorrow is the zoo!
Sending love home
to our family and friends, and thanking our myadoptionwebsite
families and friends for all of your special guestbook comments
- - Anna Kate will treasure them someday! |
