ARRIVING AND LEAVING
HONG KONG!
This will be short and sweet. I am tired and we have a very long
flight tomorrow. Basically we spent the day packing and
traveling to Hong Kong. The girls are holding up. Mike is
stressed and we all need a good green smoothie when we hit the
States. My cold is better, but I have a little bit of a
lingering cough and just a tad of sinus drainage. Please pray
that we will all stay well with zero sinus drainage 35,000 feet
in the air. It is miserable when that happens. Please pray for
Annalyn and our family as we make the transition back to our
home. Gwendolyn is very homesick. She is ready to click her
heels and suddenly appear back home...hummm that sounds
familiar. Enjoy what few pictures we have taken today.
The train ride to Hong Kong was cool, but not so much enjoyable.
They kept locking the squatty potties on the train and we had
about 3 people in our group (2 of them children) that were dying
to go to the bathroom. So as soon as the train stopped, everyone
made a bee line for the western potties at the train station. We
did get to see a lot more scenery traveling on the ground. Hong
Kong looks like a really cool town...too bad we only get to
spend about 14 hours here, most of them sleeping. Mike and I
have decided that for our 50th wedding anniversary we are going
to stay a week in Guangzhou and a week in Hong Kong, just the 2
of us...and our wheelchairs and canes.
God bless you! We really appreciate you taking this journey with
us! We are so blessed with many wonderful friends and family.
Our next post will be from Atlanta, GA! Woo hoo!! Happy
Veteran's Day! And Happy US Citizenship Day, Annalyn!! |

She loved those escalators! |
