Hi Everyone,

Today was a quiet day for us. I don’t have many scenery pictures, just pictures of the girls. We didn’t have anything on the schedule except to wait for a call from Shiyan when she took our paperwork to apply for Tia’s visa. Everything was fine and we didn’t need to re-do any papers. We were planning to go to the pearl market today but Tia decided to take a 3 hour nap instead. We didn’t want to wake her up to go. We plan to go tomorrow morning. If things work out we will also walk through the medicine market on the way back.

We are enjoying more smiles everyday from Tia. She continues to show us more personality as the days go by. We now have been with her for one week and the change in her is remarkable. She is going to keep us very busy when we get home. She loves to explore and be on the go! She will fit right in with our family.

There is one thing that Tia has not enjoyed. That is the bath tub. She still gets so scared when we give her a bath. Hopefully that will get better when we get home. It is a really hard time for her.

When we went to the playroom today Tia enjoyed interacting with the other children. I thinks she’s going to be very social. She gets right in there and plays hard even though she’s so tiny. She’s close to the size of most of the 1 year olds. She is wearing 12-18mos size clothing. She weighed 9.7 kilograms at her medical checkup. I think that is close to 20 pounds. Kassidy was able to pick Tia up a few times today without her crying. That was nice and really made Kass happy.
