ON THE ROAD AGAIN… it’s time to pack up all of our belongings and head out to the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou , China . We didn’t have anything planned for today other than our travel. Tia is doing really great and she’s opening up more to us every day. She’s really starting to feel more comfortable with us.

I will be ready to feed my family a good healthy meal around our kitchen table. We have eaten at the chairs in our room and on the bed a few too many times. Before this trip Kassidy was always hungry. Now, she doesn’t even want to go to dinner because the choices do not look appealing to her. As we understand we will have more Western food choices in Guangzhou . Kass has been a real trooper about it and does not complain but I will be happy to see her eat more soon.

The ride on the busy to the airport was a bit crazy. Tia was crying the entire time and we were all feeling frazzled even before we got on the airplane. We didn’t have much time to spare. As soon as we cleared security we boarded a shuttle to the tarmac and got on the plane. It was a short ride but was very crowded with some turbulence. Tia was happier on the plane but very busy. We went through the entire bag of “emergency” Cheerios!

We are now at the White Swan which is a lovely hotel along the Pearl River . The atmosphere here is a big change from Changsha . This feels more like a resort area and is a welcome sight to us and the families in our group.
