GOTCHA DAY!
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be
glad in it!
There are no words to describe how wonderful today was!
Our prayers and yours were answered in so many ways! This
will likely be a shorter post than I would normally do,
but I have one little angel here by my side, sharing her
toys with me! Daddy is taking a nap, still trying to beat
his cold.
Kristen arrived right on time, and came to both of us
without a tear! She checked us out and must have decided
we were okay. We quickly got to the important stuff –
snacks! She came to us with crackers in each hand, and
then let me feed her a million fruit puffs. The orphanage
director was very kind, and was able to give us some
meaningful mementos. Davis, I think she loves stuffed
animals as much as you do!
When we came back to the hotel, she played with her toys,
ate a whole bunch, took a bath, changed clothes and went
down for a nap. The only sound we heard was a bit of
protest about being dried after the bath while I was out
of the room. I heard crying and “Mama!” She does go to
both of us well, and we are so thankful! She walks well
and is curious and sweet. She’s sooooooo quiet right now,
but maybe we’ll get more out of her in a few days. She
loves her V-tek phone with the lights and sound. After the
nap we went on an explore in the hotel, and had fun
watching the Christmas decorations going up.
God is Good, All the Time ~ and All the Time, God is Good!
We are so thankful to our heavenly Father for bringing all
three of our children into our lives. Each one is a
special blessing to us.
Now I have to go…someone’s waiting for me!
Feeling Blessed,
Monte and Suzanne
If I could pick a “soundtrack” for today, it would be “How
Great is Our God,” by Chris Tomlin, found on his CD called
Arriving . . .
How great is our God!
Sing with me,
How great is our God.
And all will see how great,
How great, is our God!
Name above all names,
You are worthy of our praise,
And my heart will sing
How Great is our God! |
