Hey all!

A quick update from China! This Mama has a bad cold and needs some sleep!!!! Please pray for quick healing and strength. I keep plugging along, but feel really tired and run down. Prayers are appreciated!

We started the day with a bath for Miss Emma Claire and then a quick breakfast as she had a photo shoot to get too by 10am! She wore her Chinese best, a sweet little dress we bought for her in her province. She loved being in the spot light and was all smiles, especially when her new friend Maddie put her on her lap! It was so sweet and all the children looked beautiful and cooperated for their families to get some great photos. The photos were taken on the famous red couch at the White Swan Hotel where we are staying. It is tradition with adoptive families to have their child's picture taken there......so there was no breaking tradition today!

After the photo session, Jason, Emma and I ventured out to a grocery store. We went there by cab. It is always fun to do something unexpected. We bought some fun treats for the kids to pass out to their classmates when we get home, although I don't know if I'll let them go back to school.........I miss them SO much!!! So does Jason but today was really hard for me. I shed lots of tears. I think being sick is making my feeling homesick even worse. We are counting down the days, hours and even minutes until we are reunited as ONE family! WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Two families were able to leave for home today. They had their consulate appointments and obtained their child's visas. We hope to stay in touch through e-mail and maybe someday, Lord willing, we could meet up for a reunion! We have our US Consulate appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30. We are confident things will go well and we are able to get Emma Claire's visa on Thursday afternoon. We are hoping for a sunny day tomorrow so we can hit the pool!

Signing off for now......too tired and my head is so full, it is hard to think! Missing you all! Thank you for your posts and e-mails they are so encouraging to us! We love you all!

Avarie, Evan and Ella~ We hope you had fun going to Build-A-Bear!!! Only 3 more sleeps till Mommy, Daddy and Emma Claire are home with you! We can't wait to see you the airport! Have a fun couple of days! We will see you SOON!!!! WE LOVE and MISS YOU!!!!!! We bought some treats that you can bring into school and share with your friends at school! We hope they're yummy!
