We were up early today and ready to go to the airport at 6 am.

We flew from Xi'an To Guangzhou, China. Elliott did well during the flight he took a nap and had a snack. We arrived at the Guangzhou Airport and were greeted by the White Swan Hotel van and staff. The ride to the White Swan Hotel was 30 minutes from the airport. Going to the White Swan Hotel is one step closer to being home. This is my third trip to the White Swan Hotel. We are in Guangzhou to complete the United States portion of the adoption process. We checked into the hotel and it was lunch time so we went to Lucy's cafe for lunch. Mama ordered Cheeseburger, french fries and coke zero. Elliott had his first french fry.

Our guide, Lucy, met us at 1pm. Lucy has been our guide every time we have been to Guangzhou. It was wonderful to see familiar face. We went to the adoption medical examination. Elliott weighs 24.5 pounds. The ENT doctor commented his palate is a mild case. Let's hope the United States doctors feel the same.

We completed the medical exam and went to some of the shops outside the hotel.
The tailor came to the hotel in the afternoon. The tailor is going to make an asian style jacket for Mama and will deliver in the next two days before I leave for home.

Papa John's Pizza is for supper tonight. I can hardly wait!!

I miss everyone so much especially Daddy, Ethan, Emily & Evelyn !!

The next part of the medical examination was the ENT doctor.


ENT doctor commented that Elliott unrepaired palate looks mild.
