This morning we laid low. The boys and Bryan played Ping Pong- a
usual routine around here. Breanna and I did a little bit of
shopping with Bella. Then Miss Bella was ready for a rest.
Surprisingly, she has done very well after the EIGHT SHOTS. We
give God all for the glory for that. She has been slightly
fatigued but in relatively good yet cautioned spirits.
It was a good day to catch up on rest and regrouping. In the
afternoon we met our travel group for the famous Red Couch
photos at the White Swan Hotel. It went well and then we went to
share dinner at the Cow and Bridge Thai Restaurant. Breanna
chose Deep Fried Intestine with Garlic and Onion for dinner.
Brandon chose Blackened Veal and Bryan chose blackened ostrich
with Pumpkin Fries for dinner. They are a hoot to be around as
they actually enjoy eating an off variety of food.
Grandpa is doing so well on this trip. He is flexible, friendly,
and really quite a lot of fun to travel with. He is enjoying the
sights and sounds, the new friends (especially his new little
buddy, Mack), and seeing China for the first time. He is even
learning to be patient with the locals and the challenge in
communicating with people who speak limited English. Our travel
mates, Dave, Missy and Mack Nicholson have made this journey so
much fun. They are so funny and we are really enjoying our time
with them. |
