SURPRISE
UPDATE ON BABY BRIA!
We have been so blessed this week! A group of precious
individuals from all over the United States was in China this
week on a mission trip to Bria’s orphanage, Fengdu County Social
Welfare Institute. They brought toys, clothes, bottles, air
conditioners and lots of paint. They painted the playroom in
bright colors with flowers and trees on the walls. We found out
that at her orphanage there are only 50 children all of which
are under the age of 2. Eight of these children are in the
process of international adoption—of course, Bria being one of
those. All 8 will be adopted at the same time and to families
from our same agency. This will be wonderful because we will be
traveling with these other families the entire trip. All the
babies will still be able to play together and see each other
which will help them through the transition. A wonderful lady
named Susan was kind enough to get to know our children, take
photos of them, and update us on each one of them. She said Bria
has a “spicy personality that likes to smile. She has an
absolute head full of hair and likes a lot of attention. She
likes to focus in on your face when you talk to her. She hates
to be put down, and she is not walking on her own yet.” How
amazing!!! We can handle giving lots of attention, receiving
lots of smiles, and holding her all the time!!! We are so very
excited to go get our precious Beauty! |
Look at all the hair!! She is adorable!
